Rod Anderson Construction, Inc. is a civil construction contractor specializing in new building site prep and underground utilities, road building and road maintenance, commercial lot repair and demolition. We are family owned and operated.  Rod Anderson started working in the construction industry in 1984, but his experience began long before that while working with his family opeating a large cattle and wheat ranch his father Red Anderson started in 1943.

Today more than 50 years after Red Anderson began teaching Rod how to build a business based on hard work, honesty and integrity, Rod is using these same principles to build a stable business for his family and the families of the employees that work for the company.

In 2007 Rod Anderson Construction, Inc. received the following  Commendation Award from The Eastern Oregon Regional Forest Service.

“For outstanding forest road construction and reconstruction of Fivemile Creek Road in Umatilla County.  Your conscientious effort in location, design and construction resulted in a road that met the landowners’ objectives and exceeded the requirements of the Oregon Forest Practices Act.  Lying adjacent to a large, androgynous fish stream in a steep canyon, significant potential existed for the road to have substantial short and long term detrimental impacts.  However, your willingness to commit over 1000 hours to the job and move over 800 truckloads of cut, fill and road surfacing material will provide continued protection to the water quality and fish habitat of Fivemile Creek.  This road provides the primary access to over 16,000 acres of the landowner’s property, while greatly increasing the response time of fire crews to the area.  Congratulations on your efforts and commitment to protect and enhance the natural resources of Northeast Oregon.”
